Shanghai Photodiary - Part 1

The idea for this international trip was borne out of frustration back in February. We wanted to go to Korea and fought with other tipid (frugal) travelers for piso-fares until the rooster crowed and my eyebags doubled. Unfortunately, luck wasn't with us. So when I tried to book for Shanghai, China and actually was able to, the nine of us decided it was Shanghai or bust.

Although the sun was searing hot for the entire trip and our flight got delayed, the negative vibes didn't keep us from going sightseeing, trying out the local food, drinking cool milk teas and shopping 'til our credit cards complained. Even my rusty Mandarin-speaking skills came out of hibernation and I haggled my way through with broken Chinese.
