Nail art was considered a little tacky/gaudy a while back, but times have certainly changed. Now I see it everywhere, and people are getting more and more creative! Since I'm a newbie, I'm tackling on a simple design of pink polkadots on my hands and toes, the latter of which is shown above.

I used a light pink shade for the base and then used a toothpick to dip and then dot vibrant pink nail polish for the design.
I kept one end of the toothpick sharp for the smaller dots and cut the other end for the bigger dots.
To seal the design, I layered on clear nail polish.
I didn't take photos of my fingernails because my right hand's fingernails weren't done too neatly. That's always the problem with the non-dominant hand doing the work, right?
I'm now thinking of trying to DIY a new design next week before I leave for a family vacation in Taiwan. I've searched online for countless options, and these are the amateur-friendly semi-finalists.
