This pose was completely unintentional. The wind kept messing with my hair and I tried to pat it down while my sister clicked away. Don't you love it when the elements work to your advantage? :)

I've never been a prolonged Debbie Downer.
I'd be lying if I tell you my problems have magically faded away, because they're still lurking around, keeping life interesting. I have, however, intentionally pulled myself out of that funk and decided that I'm not going to waste another day in a pity party. Why wallow in negativity when you can just look at the bright side and banish those irksome problems where the sun don't shine? Productivity and moving forward were the best prescriptions I was given.
On Sunday, my single day-off of the week, productive meant dragging my butt from bed and dressing up...in polka dots and then stripes. This waist-tie polka dot top in particular is a recent favorite of mine. In fact, I've worn it before and posted it here. I love it so much that if it wasn't unhygienic, I'd wear this every single day for a week... Buuut, no one wants a blogger you could smell from a mile away.
PS: Heartfelt thank you's for all your kind words and encouragement. Your supportive comments here really meant a lot. :)
Hugs,
The Belated Bloomer
Cute, casual, and chic. Great style, Abi! You look great here with this tie-front shirt and this skirt. Nice espadrilles to go with everything. Not a bad outfit to beat the heat.

DeleteYou too--especially in the polkadot romper! :D
Your outfit is simple but chic, very nice. The neon bangles add a bright pop of color to an otherwise subdued palette. :)

DeleteI think bandage skirts are versatile. :) Try it with plain or printed tops! :D
I love polkadot tops and dresses, and I wasn't surprised to know that you bought yours at F21, it's a polkadot lover's heaven!
ReplyDeleteI laughed a bit with this part:
"I love it so much that if it wasn't unhygienic, I'd wear this every single day for a week... Buuut, no one wants a blogger you could smell from a mile away."
I feel you, of course I also can't do that so I wear any favorite article of clothing almost every week. :3
DeleteI know... when I really like something, I tend to want to wear it to pieces, and at the same time, try and preserve it. LOL
You look adorable and that one picture that was accidental happens to be my favorite picture of the whole bunch. :D
ReplyDeleteThe little added extra pop of neon in your bracelet really gets me. It's the perfect touch.
