Army Green

Army Green T-shirt Maxi Dress: Dorothy Perkins
Utility / Military Studded Vest: Forever 21 Plus
Brown Gladiator Sandals: Charlz
Bag: Coach

Last night, we had big butterflied prawns coated in crispy cornflakes and Japanese mayonnaise. It was heaven in a two-bite-sized ball, specifically what shrimp dreams are made of. To make that foodgasmic experience even more memorable, I decided it was time to wear my latest favorite find.

I can't even begin to express how much I love this dress! It's the perfect length, curve-hugging, flaw-forgiving, leg-showing (a la Angelina Jolie, but in a less revealing number) maxi dress that every girl should have in her arsenal. The fact that it's in an army green color that's so on-trend right now doesn't hurt either. And to finish it off, I got it at half-price! I loooove finding a great dress on sale!

Are you a fan of the army-chic look? I, for one, think that a dominantly masculine concept mixed with feminine fashion equals sexy!

Hugs,
The Belated Bloomer

  1. This outfit could have easily been dressed up with a foxy pair of heeled pumps or sandals. Or, it could have been entirely ruined (but consistent) with a pair of combat boots. This dress and the vest look great together along with the necklace and handbag. These flat sandals are nice to go with this outfit. So I say you've played this one very well, Abi. Great style!

    1. Thank you! I did consider boots (not combat), but decided to go with the sandals to give my toes a break. :)

    1. Thank you, Gellie! I think maxi dresses actually "lengthen" visually so you could give it a shot! :)
