I've been asked by some of you to share what I use for my basic, aka lazy, beauty routine, so here it is. You see, my hair doesn't always behave the way I want it to. On rebellious days, it is unruly, stubborn and tempting to pull out. I've tried hair rebonding for a few cycles, but after the last session I had years ago burned a spot in my scalp and fried the ends of my hair until they literally looked like this, I was traumatized. Besides, I never did like staying cooped up for a month with the flat hair sticking onto the sides of my face before it starts to look better. Suffice to say, I never did it again.
To tame my hair without destroying it or flattening it until it is lifeless, I recently tried a session of Keratin Blowout. I'd recommend it for those semi-wavy hair that just needs a bit of straightening or for treated hair that needs some sort of hair resurrection. The mission is to make hair look healthier and more manageable.
To maintain the effects of the treatment, I use sulfate-free Kerasilk Treatment Shampoo and Conditioner. I've been using them for a week now and I love that the shampoo doesn't strip my hair of all moisture/oils as most do. (Maybe not such a good sign for oily hair.) I follow up with a glob of conditioner and finish with a few drops of Argan Oil massaged onto damp hair. Honestly, I had high hopes for these products and I have not
been disappointed. That bottle of argan oil is my new best friend. My hair hasn't been in this great condition for months!

With my hair care pat down, let's move onto the moneymaker--the face. (LOL) I've been hearing about BB creams for the longest time, but it's only very recently that I started using it on a regular basis. We all have occasional attacks of the zit monster, so I use the BB cream to cover up the slight blemishes and also to conceal my dark eyebags. For someone who doesn't have the patience or the skills to apply step-by-step make-up every morning, the 8-in-1 BB cream is a godsend. It does ALL the work one application!
Aaand, if you haven't heard of it yet, Maybelline is launching a search for a 8 new faces of Maybelline BB Top Models!
